Excellent camping with all the necessary infrastructure. There is a kitchen, a washing machine, a refrigerator with drinks, a bathroom. With a view of Mount Gomimsta. The owners of the place are a German family. They are wonderful people 👍
Camp Itara is a very comfortable and quite place for Travellers with Caravan or tent. You will find a very clean bathroom, a washing maschine and a nice kitchen. We are very thankful to Claudia and Christoph for their uncomplicated Organisation and we are looking forward to visit Camp Itara again. We can highly recommend this place also for travellers with dogs.

Christophe and Gloria are very welcoming and kind hosts.There is plenty of space for garden tents as well as campervans.Very quiet and peaceful, cozy place.There is no fixed price per night.Donation system at your own request.Thank you for the privacy and comfort!I'll definitely come back.
Very nice campsite with all facilities you need. Owners are very welcoming and helpful. They have garage full of tools. Christopher even helped us with a few fixes in our camper and took us for groceries to city center. We are very grateful for this and can highly recommend this place!
Was here on 23 May. We loved it so much we are back here again, 28 June, before leaving Georgia to relax and unwind
Amazing place for any kind of travelers! Claudia and Christoph are heartwarming Hosts who not only offer a clean, hot shower, fresh water, electricity and a washing machine, but also try to help and support in any situation. As many other guests we spontaneously extended our stay and will definitely come back. Thank you so much for your hospitality and the lovely evenings we had together!

I can't recommend this place enough. Claudia and Christoph are both super welcoming and friendly.The place has everything a camper can wish for.The facility's for the campers are still in construction but you can use their toilet and shower in the meantime. There's also an option to empty your grey water if needed.Overall great experience with a very friendly family and some cute animals. Perfect place to relax and unwind for a couple of days after or before you're crossing the border. Also a very good stop if you're looking for some recommendations for things you can do while you're in Georgian.Thank you Claudia and Christoph 🙂

We have been to Claudia & Christoph several times. Our last stay was "fortunately" extended due to a defect in our vehicle, and we don't want to miss any of these days. Everything possible was tried to help us in the search for a spare part. Many thanks for that! This place is a wonderful opportunity for the two and their neighbors to get to know the country and the people and to take them to their hearts. We will be back.
Highly recommended campsite, run by Christoph and Claudia, a German couple with two kids and their friendly dogs. You can park or camp in their beautiful garden with view on the small Caucasus. They have built a little outdoor kitchen with separate toilette, shower, even bath tub!!!!, washing machine and offer a sewage disposal for camper vans.You also have the possibility to have family dinner with their superfriendly Georgian neighbors, to visit some of the nearby Tea plantation and to enjoy their self-created swimming-pool in the nature (a part of a river on their property). Perfect to spend some hot days.Christoph can help you with any car or campervan problem and has already some good contacts in town. They stranded here with their self converted car two years ago and are definitely worth a visit!I stayed 10!!! days.
We ended up with Claudia and Christoph twice and each time stayed longer than planned. Perfect place to start Georgia or to take a deep breath. We were warmly welcomed and received great support with various organizational matters. A place and people that we will not soon forget.
Camp Itara is an oasis to relax for a couple days. The hosts are very welcoming and you can park anywhere in their spacious garden. The small and friendly dogs, cats and chickens are a delight to watch roaming around.Being former vanlifer themselves the camp is equipped with everything you need:electricity, shower, toilet, dish washing sink, grey water dump option, washing machine.
We stayed 3 nights. Very nice and uncomplicated hosts. We didn't lack for anything. Our laundry was washed quickly and we could enjoy the rest of the days. Electricity, water and disposal facilities are available. Gladly again.
